Nearly 1,000 new students moved in to their residence halls today at Catholic University. The students got settled, met their roommates and collected their college IDs. In the afternoon, President John H. Garvey will formally welcome the students and their parents to Catholic University.For more photos, visit CUA's official Facebook page .

Patrick Gilfoil, a computer science major from St. Louis, Mo., unpacks his belongings on move-in day. He is following in his brother's footsteps by coming to CUA, and looking forward to all the new experiences college will have to offer.
