Cathy R. Wood, vice president for finance and treasurer, has appointed Jerry Conrad as associate vice president for facilities operations. He will begin on Jan. 30.
Conrad is an accomplished architect with extensive private sector experience in construction and facilities management, design, engineering, and real estate management. He obtained his LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional certification in 2004 and has considerable expertise in sustainable practices. Conrad is a CUA alumnus who earned his master's degree from the School of Architecture and Planning in 1998. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
The departments of facilities maintenance and operations, environmental health and safety, energy and utilities management, and facilities administration and services will report to Conrad. His office will be located in Marist Annex.
