Architecture Lecture Series Explores Urbanism

Catholic University's School of Architecture and Planning presents its spring lecture series, Expanded Dimensions of Urbanism. Speakers in the series include:

  • Feb. 8: Mitchell Silver, president of the American Planning Association and director of planning for the City of Raleigh, N.C., "The Value of Planning and Design in the 21st Century."
  • Feb. 22: Charles Waldheim, professor of landscape architecture at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, "Landscape as Urbanism."
  • March 28: David Malott, director of the international architecture firm Kohn Petersen Fox and Associates, "Temporal Tokyo: Urban Threads through Time."

All lectures, which are free and open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Edward M. Crough Center for Architectural Studies, Koubek Auditorium.
