Catholic University will celebrate the Christmas season with events that take place over the course of the next month. Unless noted, events will occur on campus.

Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner On Thursday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m., the Office of Campus Activities, along with the Center for Global Education and Campus Ministry, will host a potluck in the Great Room of the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center. Donations will be accepted for the Philippine Red Cross to help with relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan. Thanksgiving with Father Jude On Thursday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m., Rev. Jude DeAngelo, O.F.M. Conv., University chaplain and director of campus ministry, will host a free meal for students on campus for Thanksgiving. Dinner will be served in the Curley Hall Dining Room. Colleges Against Cancer Christmas Concert On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m., Colleges Against Cancer will present its annual Christmas concert in the Pryzbyla Center Great Room. Annual Christmas Concert for Charity On Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m., the 24th annual Christmas Concert for Charity will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Great Upper Church. The first portion of the concert features the Choir of the Basilica, conducted by Peter Latona, director of music; performing in the second half are The Catholic University of America Chamber Choir, University Singers, University Chorus, and the CUA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leo Nestor, Justine Bayard Ward Professor and director of choral studies and the Institute of Sacred Music.

This year, a freewill offering will be taken for Bethlehem House, which provides Christian residential communities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Brookland neighborhood of northeast Washington, D.C., and in Riverdale, Md.
