Fall for CatholicU

We are a leading research University with a vibrant undergraduate community. Our large residential campus is beautiful — especially in the fall — and just minutes from downtown Washington, D.C.

We are a welcoming, faith-filled community guided by academic rigor, committed to social justice, and engaged in high-energy student life.

Application Options and Deadlines

Ready to become a Cardinal? Check out your application options:

  • The Early Decision option is for students who have determined that Catholic University is the ideal fit for them, and they demonstrate that commitment by agreeing to attend the institution if admitted. Students who choose to apply Early Decision are recognized by the Committee on Admission as having made this first-choice commitment, which can provide an advantage in the review process.
    • Jan. 15: Early Decision application deadline. Students receive a decision notification by Feb. 15
  • The Regular Decision deadline is designed for students who believe they can best present a competitive application by including final grades from the first semester of their senior year.
    • Jan. 15: Regular Decision application deadline. Students receive a decision notification by March 20

Please note: Regardless of the application program, all candidates receive equal consideration for academic merit and need-based financial assistance.
