Carly Mulvaney scored 22 points Friday to give Catholic's women's basketball team its first Division III NCAA Tournament win since 2012-2013.
The 71-55 victory over Penn St.-Behrend came in the first-round of the Division III NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals used a 16-0 first-half run to get the advantage and win their first NCAA tournament game since the 2012-13 season.
The Cardinals will play again tomorrow in the second round of the tournament.
