New CUA students and their families attend Mass marking the end of Orientation for parents.

Orientation ended for the parents of new CUA students today with a 4:30 p.m. Mass celebrated at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

The Mass was celebrated by University Chaplain Rev. Jude DeAngelo, O.F.M. Conv.; who also delivered the homily, "Freedom to be Wise."

President John Garvey addressed the parents after holy Communion.

Orientation for students continues through the weekend with barbeques, presentations from upperclassmen, a Saturday night carnival and excursions through the D.C. area.
