Catechumens share their stories of conversion

Mr. Talley, now 18 and a freshman at the Catholic University of America, also recalled how one day during the summer of 2013 when he interned at the federal courthouse in Richmond, he felt inspired to enter the Cathedral.

"I don't know why I stopped there," he said. "I had never been inside. I knocked on the door and Josh Dart (Catholic campus minister for VCU and Cathedral staff member) answered.

"I asked him what was the process of becoming a Catholic," he continued.

In January 2014, while still a senior in high school, Mr. Talley entered the RICA.
