The flagship university of the U.S. Catholic Church sits in D.C.'s fast-changing Brookland neighborhood, with 6,000 students and many of the same concerns about enrollment and tuition that face all universities. But its student body is 80 percent Catholic and its president weighs in publicly on faith and social policy issues - like opposing elements of D.C.'s non-discrimination laws. We talk with the school's third lay president since it opened in 1889.
