An expert at The Catholic University of America is available to discuss the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday on Sunday, Feb. 14.

HISTORY OF SAINT VALENTINE AND VALENTINE'S DAY:
Rev. James Wiseman, O.S.B. , professor of theology and religious studies, can discuss the history of the Roman priest Valentine, the saint honored on Valentine's Day. He also can discuss the origins of the holiday as it is celebrated today. Wiseman's areas of expertise include spirituality, science and religion, and world religions. He has written or edited six books and 37 scholarly articles and book chapters. He is a member of the Catholic Theological Society of America, the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality, and the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences.
