DETAILS: | Catholic University's Benjamin T. Rome School of Music presents a piano concert by Santiago Rodriguez, a renowned interpreter of Rachmaninov. Rodriguez has been described as "a phenomenal pianist" by The New York Times and noted as one of "the finest pianists in the world" by The Baltimore Sun . Rodriguez is a winner of the van Cliburn International Piano Competition and piano professor and artist-in-residence at Miami University. His performance at Catholic University will feature the works of Manuel de Falla, Josef Haydn, Frederic Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninov and Ernesto Lecuona. The concert is free and open to the public. In addition to the recital, Rodriguez will teach a piano master class on Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Catholic University that will be free and open to the public.
