The Catholic University of America will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26, due to adverse weather and road conditions in the Washington, D.C., area.
All classes scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. or later are canceled. All on-campus events are canceled after 2 p.m.
With the exception of supervised varsity practices, the Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center will be closed. The Eugene I. Kane Student Health and Fitness Center will remain open.
The John K. Mullen of Denver Memorial Library will remain open until 5 p.m. (unless conditions become extremely hazardous and Metrorail is no longer operating). Other university libraries will close at 2 p.m.
The Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center will remain open as usual. The Food Court will close at 2 p.m.
To find out about the delayed opening or closing of Catholic University because of inclement weather, students, faculty and staff should visit www.cua.edu or call the university's main number - 202-319-5000. The information is available through those two sources by 6 a.m. on days when weather conditions are extremely poor.
