To kick off Global Voices of Nonviolence 2011 - an international, 12-day series of discussions on issues of peace - the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies will host a screening of the film "Little Town of Bethlehem" and a discussion with experts, including Sami Awad, executive director of Holy Land Trust.

Awad is one of the subjects of the film, which details the story of three men in the Holy Land - a Palestinian Christian, a Palestinian Muslim, and an Israeli Jew - who strive to bring peace to their homeland besieged with violence.

The event will be streamed live online. Prior to the panel discussion, online participants may submit questions via Twitter. Participants should use hashtag #GVoN and note their location.

Online participants are asked to register for the event at http://littletownofbethlehem.org/globalvoices/#register.
