Catholic University's basketball teams finished a combined 4-0 on the road this weekend against the Merchant Marine Academy and Drew University.
The men's basketball team beat the Merchant Marine Academy 59-55 on Friday night. On Saturday, the team beat Drew 75-61 for their fourth straight win. CUA is now tied for first place in the Landmark Conference. The team will play again on Friday, Jan. 27, when the Cardinals host The University of Scranton at the Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center at 7:30 p.m.
The women's team beat the Merchant Marine Academy 64-38 on Friday. The team beat Drew 66-50 on Saturday. The Cardinals will return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 24, when they host The College of New Jersey at the DuFour Center at 6 p.m.
