DETAILS: | These two interrelated one-acts, based on medieval mystery plays but infused with the eerie sensibilities of the modern American horror genre, offer an edge-of-your-seats experience as they explore the unexplainable that exists within life, death, faith, and forgiveness. The plays are directed by Sasha Brätt, M.F.A. directing candidate at Catholic University. The Mystery Plays is written by Robert Aguirre-Sacasa, a well-known American playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer. In 2002, The Mystery Plays was awarded the Robert L. Stevens Award from the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays. Tickets: $15 full price, $8 for senior citizens and CUA alumni/faculty/staff, and $5 for students.
