CUA University Singers and Chamber Choir Spring Concert

DETAILS The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music presents The Catholic University of America University Singers and Chamber Choir in concert. The choruses are conducted by Leo Nestor, Justine Bayard Ward Professor of Music. A brass ensemble of CUA doctoral students will also perform.

Performance selections will include Western chant, Ferko's "O Gracious Light," Lenten and Easter selections by Deodat de Severac and Jean Roger-Ducasse, Marian anthems by Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorzycki, Martin Dalby, and Leo Nestor, instrumental and choral selections of former CUA music professor Russell Woollen, and a premiere of junior composition student John Henderson's work "I am the Vine."
