DETAILS: | Gernot Wagner, economist at the Environmental Defense Fund and adjunct professor of international and public affairs at Columbia University, will present "But Will the Planet Notice? How Smart Economics Can Save the World" as the 2012 Thomas and Marie Rojas Earth Day Lecture. "Your dedication to recycling and being green won't make the planet notice," Wagner says. "In our confrontation with climate change, it is what several billion individuals do that makes a difference." This event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
