  • HISTORY OF CATHOLIC INVOLVEMENT IN POLITICS - Maria Mazzenga is education archivist at the American Catholic History Research Center and University Archives, where she manages educational programs related to the American Catholic experience. In addition to preparing archives-based educational presentations aimed at both the CUA community and the general public, she manages the American Catholic History Classroom, a website featuring more than 150 primary documents and educational materials on topics including Catholics and politics.   • THEOLOGICAL POLITICS - Chad C. Pecknold, assistant professor of theology, teaches fundamental theology and political theology. He is the author of Transforming Postliberal Theology (T & T Clark 2005) and Christianity and Politics: A Brief Guide to the History (Cascade 2010).   • RELIGON AND AMERICAN POLITICS - Stephen Schneck, director of CUA's Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies and associate professor of politics, is an expert in the convergence of religion and the issues of contemporary politics. His other areas of expertise include the Catholic vote, the framers of the U.S. Constitution, religion and American politics, church/state issues, and the political implications of Catholic theology.   • ELECTIONS AND THE ELECTORATE - John Kenneth White , presidential scholar and professor of politics, can provide insight and historical perspective on the election and the impact of moral and Catholic values on the American electorate. He is co-author, with Matthew Kerbel, of Party On! Political Parties from Hamilton and Jefferson to Today's Networked Age (2012), and with CUA Professor of Sociology Sandra Hanson, of The American Dream in the 21st Century (2011). He is also the author of "Barack Obama's America: How New Conceptions of Race, Family, and Religion Ended the Reagan Era" (2009). He has served as a guide to the political caucus process for C-SPAN and is a veteran source for print and broadcast journalists.
