EASTERN CHURCHES AND ECUMENISM - Very Rev. Mark Morozowich, dean of the School of Theology and Religious Studies and associate professor of liturgy at The Catholic University of America, is an expert in Eastern liturgies and theology. Formed in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of his family, Father Morozowich is the author of a comprehensive study titled Holy Thursday in Jerusalem and Constantinople: The Liturgical Celebrations from the Fourth to the Fourteenth Centuries . His research focuses on various topics of liturgical history from penitential practices to liturgical year to divergent issues in Eastern Christian mysteries.

POST-VATICAN II LITURGICAL REFORMS - Monsignor Kevin Irwin, Monsignor Walter J. Schmitz Chair of Liturgical Studies, is completing a book assessing the post-Vatican II liturgical reforms titled What We Have Done, What We Have Failed To Do . Monsignor Irwin is an adviser to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Divine Worship and the author of 14 books on liturgy and sacraments, including Liturgy, Prayer and Spirituality, Liturgical Theology: A Primer, Context and Text, Responses to 101 Questions on the Mass, and Models of the Eucharist .

THE EUCHARIST, ECUMENISM - Monsignor Paul McPartlan, the Carl J. Peter Professor of Systematic Theology and Ecumenism, is the author of The Eucharist Makes the Church: Henri de Lubac and John Zizioulas in Dialogue, Sacrament of Salvation: An Introduction to Eucharistic Ecclesiology, and A Service of Love: Papal Primacy, the Eucharist, and Church Unity (forthcoming). Monsignor McPartlan is a member of the International Theological Commission and of the joint international commission for theological dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. He has also participated in international Catholic-Methodist and Anglican-Roman Catholic dialogue.
