Monsignor Kevin Irwin, the Monsignor Walter J. Schmitz, S. S. Professor of Liturgical Studies, can discuss the progression of Pope Benedict's views on human stewardship of natural resources in his major discourses of moral teaching. Monsignor Irwin was a frequent commentator for the media on liturgical matters related to Pope John Paul II's death and funeral and Pope Benedict XVI's installation Mass and visit to the United States in 2008.
