Although most of Catholic University's students have left for the summer, nearly 7,500 visitors will take their place during summer conferences and events.
More than 60 groups will be using campus space for housing, meetings, graduations, and conferences. Residence halls serve as accommodations for conference guests and more than 160 student interns who are working in the city.
Last month, CUA hosted 300 people for the Special Olympics D.C.'s summer games. The event marked the 13th consecutive year the games have been held at CUA.
Other groups using campus space this summer include the Cardinal Newman Society, Catholic Charities, the U.S. Holocaust Museum, Hispanic Access Foundation, National Society of Black Engineers, College Board, and the Thomastic Institute.

The University offers visiting groups a variety of meeting facilities including classrooms, conference spaces, auditoriums, reception rooms, computer labs, and athletic facilities.
