Eight Faculty to Discuss their Books on C-SPAN2
A crew from Book TV on C-SPAN2 set up in the May Gallery of the John K. Mullen of Denver Memorial Library on Tuesday, Jan. 27, to film eight faculty authors discussing books they have written or edited. Book TV is a 48-hour program on C-SPAN2 on the weekends featuring discussions with authors of non-fiction books.
The following faculty members can be viewed on C-SPAN2 in the coming weeks:
- Matthew Green, associate professor of politics, author of The Speaker of the House: A Study of Leadership (2010) Sunday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 17, at 1 a.m.
- Andrew Yeo, assistant professor of politics, author of Activists, Alliances, and Anti-U.S. Base Protests (2011) Sunday, Feb. 16, at 1:30 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 17, at 1:30 a.m.
- Jerry Muller, chair and professor of history, author of Capitalism and the Jews (2010) Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 24, at 1 a.m.
- Sandra Hanson, professor of sociology, editor of The American Dream in the 21st Century (2011) Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1:35 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 24, at 1:35 a.m.
- Alexander Russo, associate professor of media studies, author of Points on the Dial: Golden Age Radio Beyond the Networks (2010) Sunday, March 9, at 1 p.m., and Monday, March 10, at 1 a.m.
- Chad Pecknold, assistant professor of theology, author of Christianity and Politics: A Brief Guide to the History (2010) Sunday, March 9, at 1:30 p.m., and Monday, March 10, at 1:30 a.m.
- John Kenneth White, professor of politics, author of Barack Obama's America (2009) Sunday, March 16, at 1 p.m., and Monday, March 17, at 1 a.m.
- Michael Kimmage, associate professor of history, author of The Conservative Turn: Lionel Trilling, Whittaker Chambers, and the Lessons of Anti-Communism (2009) Sunday March 16, at 1:20 p.m., and Monday, March 17, at 1:20 a.m.
