  • Ethics and Catholic Social Thought - V. Bradley Lewis, associate professor of philosophy, can discuss Catholic social thought, the common good, and natural law theory. Lewis works primarily in political and legal philosophy, with a particular focus on classical natural rights and the theory of natural law: their character, history, and application to contemporary issues in politics and law.   • International Relations - Maryann Cusimano Love, associate professor of politics and fellow of the Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies (IPR), is a member of the Core Group advising the Secretary of State on religion and foreign policy, and was a fellow at the Commission on International Religious Freedom, which provides independent policy recommendations to the President, the Secretary of State, and Congress. In addition to being the author of many international relations books, she serves as an adviser to the U.S. Catholic bishops, the Catholic Peacebuilding Network, Jesuit Refugee Services, and Georgetown's Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, and is a columnist for America magazine, where she received a 2009 Best Columnist Catholic Press Award.
