The Catholic University of America's Certificate in European Studies Program hosts a roundtable discussion on freedom of expression, democracy, faith, and violence.

CUA faculty members participating in the roundtable are from disciplines including theology, media studies, politics, and history.

They include:

  • William Barbieri, associate professor of ethics and director of the Peace and Justice Studies Program
  • Dorle Hellmuth, assistant professor of politics
  • Wilhelmus "Pim" Valkenberg, professor of religion and culture
  • Lev Weitz, assistant professor of history

The panel will be moderated by Daniel Garcia-Donoso, assistant professor of Spanish and director of the Certificate in European Studies, and Chelsea Stieber, assistant professor of French.
