Catholic University's National Catholic School of Social Service (NCSSS) has been ranked 47th on the U.S. News & World Report 2016 rankings for the Top 50 Best Schools of Social Work. NCSSS has been recognized for its balance between social welfare policy, human behavior, ethics and hands-on experience in clinical settings.

This achievement follows the program's 2015 ranking on the Social Work Degree Guide's "Top 25 Christian Colleges for a Social Work Program." NCSSS was rated number two on the list.

"This huge success is because of the teaching, scholarship, and service of our faculty and staff who earned the high ranking," said NCSSS Dean William Rainford.

The school offers the B.S.W., M.S.W, and Ph.D. and is recognized for its emphasis on education, morality, faith, and service.

"Now I am dreaming of being in the top 30 schools. We have four years to move the needle," said Rainford .
