Dean Andrew Abela and Professor Carly Fiorina share successes and vision for education

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m., Andrew Abela, founding dean of The Busch School of Business at Catholic University, and Carly Fiorina, distinguished clinical professor of leadership at the business school, will participate in a panel discussion and Q and A with media to discuss several 2019 milestones, including:

  • The school’s move to its newly renovated home, Maloney Hall (January 2019);
  • The school’s strategic partnership with Carly Fiorina, forged in March, who was named a distinguished clinical professor in leadership. In that position, she is integrating her leadership and problem-solving curriculum into the school’s academic offerings;
  • Andrew Abela’s return, this past July, to the helm of the school after serving four years as the University provost.

Abela and Fiorina will share their collective vision for teaching leadership at the Busch School, what’s important in business education today, and Abela’s return to the school. Following brief remarks by each, media guests will be invited to ask questions. Busch School faculty and students will also be on hand to share their experiences and expertise.

The discussion will take place in Maloney Hall, Room 301. Following the event, student-led tours of the new facilities will be available. Continental breakfast will be served.
