The Catholic University of America has been ranked #27 in the mid-Atlantic region by Military Times for their 2021 Best for Vets: Colleges list.
The Military Times list is the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools for military service members and veterans, helping them to make important decisions about their education.
More than 350 schools participated in the Best for Vets: Colleges survey that included questions about school costs, programs, policies and services that impact military-connected students. Federal data from the U.S. Departments of Education, Veterans Affairs and Defense, were also considered.
Catholic University ranked #82 among private not-for-profit schools.
"Military Times is an extremely well respected name within the military-affiliated student demographic and I'm very honored by the recognition that we have from this publication,” said Stephan Murphy, director of military and veteran student services.
“Over the last year I feel like we have made strides to improve the military-affiliated student experience at The Catholic University of America and I am excited and hopeful for what we can accomplish in a more ‘normal’ upcoming academic year.”
Earlier this year the University was named a military friendly school, earning the designation as a gold-level award winner by the Military Friendly Company.
These listings were a result of the University’s strong participation in the Yellow Ribbon program and the policies the University has in place to serve veterans and active-duty service members.
Application fees are waived for veterans. For more information on veterans’ education benefits at Catholic University, visit the University’s admission website or contact Stephan Murphy at murphysk@cua.edu.
