The Catholic University of America women’s and men’s lacrosse teams won Landmark Conference championships on Saturday. Both teams are now preparing to play in the NCAA Tournament.
The women’s team earned their eighth conference title in the last nine years with a 19-12 victory over the University of Scranton. The team earned a bye in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament and will host Messiah College at Cardinal Stadium at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.
The men’s team won their second straight conference championship with a 13-12 overtime win against Elizabethtown College. The team will play at Salisbury University at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
