This is an update to last night’s shelter-in-place on campus. The Metropolitan Police Department returned to the area this morning to continue their investigation. A weapon was found in the wooded area near Taylor Street and was taken into evidence. MPD has coordinated with Montgomery County Police Department, who will continue the investigation. Both MPD and the Montgomery County Police have left the area.
