The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies at The Catholic University of America will promote a highly trained federal workforce by offering scholarships to eligible federal employees across the country.
Through the University’s participation in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s Federal Academic Alliance, eligible federal employees will receive an automatic 10% scholarship toward tuition for any of the school’s online or in-person courses. The application fee will also be waived.
The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies offers certificates and undergraduate and graduate degrees aimed at meeting the unique needs of working students. The Master of Science in Management degree offered jointly with the University’s Busch School of Business and Economics includes tracks in federal contract management, leadership and management, and project management.
Thanks to the school’s generous transfer-credit rules, federal employees who have completed some college study elsewhere can use Catholic University’s online undergraduate courses to complete a bachelor’s degree, boosting their potential for advancement in the federal workforce. The school offers degrees in human services management, social work, information technology, emergency services management, health administration, and interdisciplinary studies. Students can also complete individual courses for career advancement or personal fulfillment.
