More than 1,300 participants gathered at The Catholic University of America on Oct. 25 for the 10th annual Halloween on Campus, a free event that provides a safe and fun Halloween experience for children from the Brookland and Catholic University communities.
The young doctors, dragons, and fairies spent the evening on Marist Lawn having their faces painted, jousting with students, collecting spooky prizes, and trick-or-treating through Centennial Village.
Campus Ministry volunteers spent Thursday morning setting up the carnival games on Marist Lawn. They prepared for the event by collecting candy donations through October and promoting the event to the Brookland neighborhood. More than 100 individual students from 29 volunteer organizations participated in the event.
