Since September, Catholic University Athletics and its 25 teams have been working hard on operating in a pandemic, preparing for a return to play and strengthening alumni relations while raising money through the Athletics Giving Challenge.
During Cardinal Weekend 2020, Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean Sullivan led two, one-hour discussions with some of our coaches that covered a variety of topics, most notably, how our teams are adapting and adjusting to COVID in regards to practice and recruiting.
Other topics included the importance of our alumni, what their experience at Catholic has meant to them, our commitment to the success of student-athletes personally, athletically and in their future endeavors, what goes into building a championship program, and the unique traits that make Catholic University so special.
