The Catholic University women's lacrosse team won their 12th Landmark Conference championship and seventh-straight with a 13-9 victory over Scranton Saturday at Carlini Field.
As a result, the sixth-ranked Cardinals (9-0) will also make their 12th appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship and seventh consecutive.
Junior Molly Monaghan was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after totaling four goals, one assist, eight draw controls and two caused turnovers in wins over Susquehanna and Scranton.
