Catholic University’s close-knit feel is known for forming friendships that last a lifetime. For people like Frank Persico, the 1970s baseball team led by Matt Kurkjian, and a group of women self-titled “Girls Night Out”, these CatholicU friendships have lasted decades, and are now more like family.
The Catholic University of America is a leading institution at one of the largest, if not the largest, hubs for heliophysics research in the world. In 2021, the University received $64.1 million from NASA to lead PHaSER (Partnership for Heliophysics and Space Environment Research) and support NASA’s heliophysics division.
