Kirst spent four years in the Russia office of Price Waterhouse as the managing partner. He was tasked with growing that office and under his watch staff increased from 20 to over 800. He also carefully handled all media communications in a �cowboy� atmosphere as the Soviet Union had just collapsed and Russia emerged, and spoke at conferences on investing in Russia.
